MY DAD ISN'T HERE, AT LEAST HE ISN’T HERE IN PERSON MY DAD IS HERE IN MY HEART MY DAD LAYS BY MY HEAD EVERY NIGHT HE SITS BY ME EVERY NIGHT WATCHING OVER ME MY DAD LOVES ME VERY MUCH BUT HE'S BEEN GONE FROM ME HE'S BEEN GONE FOR A FEW YEARS NOW, BUT HE'S BEEN WITH ME THE WHOLE TIME BUT EVERY NIGHT WHEN I LAY MY HEAD DOWN TO SLEEP I SAY "DAD I LOVE YOU, AND I MISS YOU" THEN I FEEL A WARM COMFORTING HAND LAYING ON MY HEAD WITH THE FINGERS RUNNING THROUGH MY HAIR THEN I HEAR THAT UNFAMILIAR VOICE SAY TO ME "I LOVE YOU TOO, AND I MISS YOU. I AM ALWAYS HERE FOR YOU, BABYGIRL" ALL THIS HAPPENS WITH MY EYES CLOSED LIKE IT’S ALMOST A DREAM BUT THEN I OPEN MY EYES AND I SEE MY GUARDIAN ANGEL HE'S STANDING RIGHT IN FRONT OF ME WITH HIS HAND IN MINE HELPING ME LEADING ME GUIDING ME DOWN THE ROAD CALLED LIFE THAT HE NEVER GOT TO LIVE HIMSELF I LOOK IN THE MIRROR AND SEE A LITTLE GIRL STANDING AT HER DADDY'S SIDE I LOOK UP BUT NOBODY IS THERE I LOOK BACK AT THE MIRROR AND I SEE A WOMAN STANDING NEXT TO HER FATHER I LOOK OVER AND SEE MY DADDY SMILING HE GIVES ME A HUG AS I CLOSE MY EYES AND REST MY HEAD ON HIS SHOULDER I TELL HIM "I LOVE YOU DADDY, I WISH YOU WERE HERE" HE TELLS ME "I LOVE YOU TOO BABYGIRL AND I AM ALWAYS HERE WITH YOU" "I AM ALWAYS HERE IN YOUR HEART, AND ALWAYS IN YOUR MIND" I LOOK UP AND OPEN MY EYES AND HE'S GONE JUST LIKE THE FIRST TIME HE LEFT ONLY THIS TIME I KNOW HE'S STILL WITH ME.

Personal Credo

I believe in happiness, it’s something we must create. Happiness in ourselves lays the foundation for happiness in everything else. It isn’t something to take for granted, and sometimes it’s a struggle. But, happiness is the best remedy for anything ever thought of. There is no true peace like pure and utter happiness. Once that oblivion has been reached, one can grasp anything.
I believe in family, I believe it soothes the soul. Most of my best days include the people that I love. My mom is my best friend, she’s been there since day one. She’s stuck beside me no matter what I get myself into. My brothers are my world, they pick me up when I fall.
I believe in respect, it’s something earned. It’s hard to earn but as soon as you achieve it no one can take it away. The only person who can interfere with the respect you receive is you. You solely are the one responsible for showing why you deserve it. Earn it, keep it, treasure it.
I believe in God, The Almighty higher power. I believe that if this world came into being from some “blast” we wouldn’t have any needs. I’ve never seen people stand so strong as they do when they unite in His word. It has a power, a sense of lidocaine that numbs all your pains. How I wish I could go back to the days when I sat and watched the people unite in His word.

I believe that all of my failures in life have led to even better successes.

Every failure I have experienced in my life has led to something greater. I fall and then I get back up and something good comes of it. I lost my dad, but gained a best friend in my mother. I hurt my knee and lost my job, but finished school even earlier because of it. I finished school took my GED and then started college. I lost one friend but gained an even better one. I lost my car but now I’m getting an even better one. I lost my old job, but now I have an amazing one. I teach toddlers from age 17 months to two and a half years old. I love it! I work ten hours a day four days a week. Doesn’t sound hard does it? It is with full-time school and a home to balance too. I love watching children learn things. Granted my class doesn’t learn a whole lot given their age, but they have a blast listening to my lessons! Back to my failures and successes.. I lost one boyfriend, months later gained an amazing one. We have a big age difference but with my maturity level and how great we get along, it works amazingly! I could definitely see him being my husband one day.. one day far away. I do not want to rush into marriage or kids until I am a registered nurse and have all of my schooling behind me that way I can have the money to spoil them rotten and have the ability to be a stay at home mom for their first year, or even to work full-time, who knows. The important thing is that my schooling comes first to me. It has to. My life literally depends on it. Schooling to be a nurse or work at a preschool for the rest of my life. Granted I love my job to pieces, I don’t want to be doing it at minimum wage for the rest of my life. Medicine is my calling. Second to helping children of course. I definitely have to find the balance between school and work and home. I wake up at 6am, get home at 6pm cook dinner do homework and go to bed. I don’t feel like I see Justin (my boyfriend) at all even though we live together. I feel like I’m meeting myself coming and going but I know once I get the balance right it will all work out. I have 3 days off, so as long as I do my homework on those three days, ill be just fine. I might even be able to do homework while the kids are napping, Ill have to ask my boss. That would definitely be helpful considering that they nap from 11:30-1:30. They’re so much fun! Except one kid, she cries all day and takes toys away from kids like it’s nobody’s business. Anyways.. all my failures have made me stronger and allowed something better to happen. I thank God for my failures, they keep me humble.
